Hi there, my name is Andy..This blog is all about .... yes you guess it... my son Damien...
Damien is about 9 months old today. There are things that he is learning everyday... As of now he has learnt how to filp, crawl on his tummy and sit up by himself..
He is currently learning how to stand up by himself by holding on the support.
Today he went for a minor operation on his cheek. This was due to a cyst on his right cheek. Actually the baby surgeon says we can wait till it swells again to remove it. But hack it, better do it ASAP.
I went into the OT with him and they started to adminster anethestic to him and knock him out. The whole procedure took about 10 ~ 20 mins. He was given a stich on his face. After about an hour of sleep he was back to his old self playing with anything that is not a toy.
Now he is sleeping cos its been a long day for him. Especially for a 9 mth old to undergo surgery. He will be doing his follow up next Monday, I pray that it will not be a perm scar.
